Career Development Center

University of Richmond students are invited to participate in the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers' "Road Trips to the Real World" program during winter break.

This program allows students to visit organizations to learn first-hand about different career fields, network with employers and explore internship and job opportunities.

The Career Development Center will host an information session Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. in Tyler Haynes Commons, Room 348 for students interested in applying to the university's Washington, D.C. Initiative Internship Program.

The program gives UR students the opportunity to intern in the D.C. metro area for eight weeks or more during the summer. In previous years, students have interned with organizations in a variety of fields, including business, government, government affairs, journalism, nonprofit organizations and public policy.
