This spring, the English Department's Writers Series presents the University of Richmond Poetry Festival. The Festival highlights authors and poets whose unique voices will be part of the literary landscape for years to come. While they represent diverse perspectives, each writer tackles current social issues, such as race, sexuality, and the immigrant experience, from their own point of view, driven by their personal experience.Join poets Chen Chen, Camille Rankine, Anaïs Duplan, Tarfia Faizullah, and Peter LaBerge for a panel discussion on today's literary landscape.
All five featured poets will also present readings on April 4 and 5; learn more.
This year's Writers Series is supported, in part, by the Tucker-Boatwright Festival of Literature and the Arts.
