UR Downtown hosts Downtown Arts gatherings in advance of selected downtown performances for University of Richmond students, faculty, staff, and alumni and local performers and directors. Transportation is provided from campus, and registration is required. Performance tickets will be purchased for students in advance.

On Thursday, March 16, join us for The End of War, presented by the Virginia Repertory Theatre.

Richmond writer David L. Robbins' critically acclaimed novel is adapted for the stage. In the final days of World War II, the race to conquer Berlin is on. Robbins takes us into the heat of battle, awaiting the fated, terrifying collison between Stalin's army and Berlin's civilian population. The End of War examines the choices we make for ourselves, and for each other, when persecution is on our doorstep.

The UR Downtown Shuttle departs from Tyler Haynes Commons at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., then participants will walk down the street to the November Theatre. A shuttle will return to campus following the event. Register here.
