The Hollings Scholarship provides sophomores an academic scholarship of $9,500 for two years of study and a 10-week, full-time paid internship at a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration facility during the summer. Sophomore STEM and social science students with research interests in oceanic and atmospheric sciences are encouraged to apply.

Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens in their junior year, have financial need, and have a competitive GPA (~3.7 or above). University endorsement is required.
