This interactive workshop explores different styles of puppetry and gives you the tools to promote approaches to learning, observation skills, and descriptive skills through puppet-making and performance. This event is free and open to educators, provided by the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond and Partners in the Arts, a program of SPCS.

Kick off Homecoming weekend by connecting with fellow sustainable Spiders in the Eco-Corridor for mingling, snacks, music, games, and Eco-Corridor tours! All are welcome.

SPCS students, faculty, and staff are invited to join Natasha Sturrock, SPCS Student Government Association (SGA) vice president, on Sundays at 10 a.m. for a beautiful stroll around the University of Richmond campus followed by brunch around 11 a.m. The walk begins at at the Special Program Building and concludes with brunch in the Heilman Dining Center.

An afternoon of hands-on art making activities, exhibitions, refreshments, and “a meet the puppets” workshop.  At 3 p.m., attend  the performance of Galapagos George presented by Barefoot Puppet Theatre.  Tickets for performance are free but required, see https://modlin.richmond.edu for information.
