The Department of Physics invites you to a talk by Erin Buckley, associate professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, Department of Pediatrics at Emory University. Buckley will present "Optical Spectroscopies for Brain Monitoring."

Kurt Beals is Visiting Associate Professor of German and Humanities Fellow in Literary Translation. He has translated a wide range of works from German into English by authors including Erich Maria Remarque, Hermann Hesse, Jenny Erpenbeck, Regina Ullmann, and Anja Utler.
