Lectio Divina is Latin for "Divine Reading" and is a Benedictine practice of spiritual reading that involves lectio (reading), meditatio (meditation), oratio (prayer), and contemplatio (contemplation). This practice does not treat Scripture as texts to be studied, but as the Living Word. It is intended to promote communion with God and to enhance knowledge of the Word of God.
Leaders of the Catholic Campus Ministry will faciliate Lectio Divina every Monday at 5 p.m. in the Wilton Center Prayer Room.
