This conference will explore the experience of writers and artists that have migrated across the Mediterranean, from Eastern European and African countries to Italy and other Western European nations. Hear from writers and artists as they reflect on their inner tensions with respect to questions of identity, homeland, and culture.

This event is part of the School of Arts & Sciences' themed year programming Contested Spaces: Race, Nation, and Conflict. It is free and open to the public.
