In a time of polarization and increased levels of identity-based violence, we need new ways of teaching for community and connection. How can we turn toward the suffering caused by racism and other forms of identity-based oppression with the confidence that we can help heal rather than exacerbate wounds? In this public presentation, Professor Rhonda Magee will explore how mindfulness and compassion practices can help us develop the capacity to heal ourselves and transform our communities.
