Dir. Petra Costa | Brazil - USA | 2012, 80 min.

Elena, a young Brazilian woman, travels to New York dreaming of becoming an actress. She leaves behind Petra, her younger sister, and a childhood spent hiding during the military dictatorship. Two decades later, Petra goes to New York to pursue acting, and to search for Elena. Their stories overlap and begin to blur, obliterating the line between documentary, diary, and fever dream, weaving a captivating and heartbreaking family portrait.
