Dirs. Ila Bêka & Louise Lemoine | France | 2015 | 85 min.

Conceived as a personal video diary, this film takes us to the heart of a contemporary housing development, considered to be a new model of success in Denmark— the giant “8 House”. Situated in the suburbs of Copenhagen, the filmmakers recount their own experiences as occupants living in this award-winning residential building. Through the intimate stories of the building’s inhabitants, the filmmakers explore the capability of architectural design to provide collective happiness, capturing surprising outcomes of this modern social experiment.

Shown in conjunction with UR’s efforts to “go Danish” during the of celebration of International Education Week.
