Richmond: Spider Breakfast Seminar

Join fellow Richmond-area alumni for a complimentary breakfast and presentation from Professor of Chemistry, Dr. Carol Parish. Professor Parish is the Program Coordinator for the University's Integrated Inclusive Science and SMART Programs, and her research in the Parish group focuses on understanding the dynamical behaviour of interesting molecular systems. A nationally recognized leader in training and mentoring scientists, Dr. Parish received the Outstanding Faculty Award frm the State Council of Higher Education in January and was recognized in 2017 as a winner of the Universtiy's Distinguished Educator Award.

This talk will provide a broader perspective on Dr. Parish's research and explore the importance of mentorship in the sciences on campus.
