Originating in Chinatowns across the US and Canada, 9-Man is a unique street-ball tournament game that began in the 1930s when anti-immigrant sentiment prevented new Chinese-American citizens from assimilating. This award-winning documentary of the beloved past-time and tradition explores the sport’s development and its role in community building.
