The Omicron Delta Kappa Epsilon Circle is honored to sponsor the seventh University of Richmond Last Lecture Series which will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Ukrop Auditorium Lecture Hall Q162 with a brief reception with refreshments in the Queally Hall Moelchert Commons Q160 at 6:45 p.m.

At this event, we will hear remarks from University of Richmond Associate Professor of Economics, Dr. Saif Mehkari, on the question: With the high cost of college education and the debt that such an education entails one may wonder is college really worth it? He will shed light on this question by discussing both what it means for a college education to be "worth it" and how various factors affect that worth.

Each year, University of Richmond Omicron Delta Kappa Executive Board chooses Last Lecture speakers who demonstrates sincere dedication to student development and contributes significantly to the academic culture at the University. Previous lecturers of this Series were Dr. Jessica Flanigan in 2017, Dr. Jan French in 2016, Dr. Bill Myers in 2015, Dr. Julian Hayter in 2014, Dr. Joe Ben Hoyle in 2013, and Dr. Rick Mayes in 2009.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are not required for this event and seating is first-come, first-served.
