Building on class work and insights and techniques developed on their trip to Los Angeles in January, student working groups will present their visions of a future in which the University of Richmond has become a thriving, equitable community deeply engaged with the broader social world. Inspired by methods for re-imagining systems from the social margins such as afro-futurism and psychogeography, the presentations seek to make their visions tangible by showcasing (speculative) artifacts related to the futures they have imagined and desire.

The campus community is invited to attend the Sophomore Scholars in Residence (SSIR) capstone presentation for The System community on Wednesday, April 18 at 4:30 p.m. in Tyler Haynes Commons 305.  More information about this course is available online at: https://livinglearning.richmond.edu/ssir/system/index.html
