Pandemic: Richmond explores the repeated storms of disease that have swept through the city. From influenza to cholera to polio to AIDS/HIV, the exhibition investigates how Richmonders have fought silent, invisible enemies and tells their stories of both loss and survival. Guest curator and associate professor of English Elizabeth Outka will introduce the exhibition with curator of archives Meg Hughes and director of public programs Liz Reilly-Brown. Meet in front of Tyler Haynes Commons at 11 a.m. Lunch boxes will be provided by Garnett’s Café.

Registration is required, and space is limited.
