Roy Goodman, the CFO of Luck Companies, a company with divisions including rock quarries, stone centers, real estate development, and athletic court surfacing, through his accomplished career, has extensive experience in navigating various careers in accounting and finance and weighing and exploring different job options. Roy, GB’85, has been a Chief Financial Officer of 4 companies in different industries, including finance and IT, and has seen what works best and what doesn't tend to work in planning a career in accounting or finance. Roy is also a member of the University of Richmond Alumni Association.

Career Chats offer the opportunity to learn from Spider alumni and friends of the University about career paths in a variety of industries and numerous topics relevant to *you*. These small virtual chats provide an intimate setting for you to hear about interesting paths taken by our hosts, ask questions regarding the industry in which they work and other post-grad experiences, and make meaningful connections with University of Richmond’s alumni network and beyond.
