Zach Sussman graduated from the University of Richmond in 2010 with a BA in theater arts and business administration minor. After earning his MS in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management from The New School and an MBA from NYU Stern, Zach returned to the city in which he was born and raised to work in the energy efficiency and sustainability industry with Con Edison as a Senior Specialist. With a unique path to his current role, Zach has had to learn how to find his place in an industry that can be very engineering-centric without a formal engineering education. Zach will be taking over the official @urichmondcareer Instagram page leading up to his chat to give you a real inside look at what he does on a daily basis.

Career Chats offer the opportunity to learn from Spider alumni and friends of the University about career paths in a variety of industries and numerous topics relevant to *you*. These small virtual chats provide an intimate setting for you to hear about interesting paths taken by our hosts, ask questions regarding the industry in which they work and other post-grad experiences, and make meaningful connections with University of Richmond’s alumni network and beyond. Students of all class years and majors, in all stages of their career exploration, are welcome to participate.

Students abroad are welcome to participate in the chats virtually.
