Days after the vice presidential debate, the Center for Civic Engagement will host a Brown Bag discussion on community infrastracture. This debate recap will tie in with Palaces for the People, by Eric Klinenberg, the 2020-21 One Book, One Richmond selection.

The Brown Bag Discussion series supports campus and community in collaborative study, reflection, and action to address contemporary social issues. The Center for Civic Engagement is continuing to host Brown Bags virtually on Fridays, from 1pm – 1:45pm. While there won’t be Christian’s, there will be plenty of food for thought. We invite you to BYOPizza, and hope to see you online this Friday at 1pm!

The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) hosts Brown Bag discussions, open to members of the campus and the community, most Fridays during the academic year. Each week, a speaker or small panel leads a presentation on a provocative social issue, then opens up the floor for discussion.
