Please join us for the 16th Annual ChinaFest and the first one ever to be offered virtually. The Irby B. Brown opening lecture will feature Yue-Sai Kan.

Ms. Kan has been the pioneer in East-West exchange by producing the first of its kind TV program Looking East, introducing Asia to American audiences in the 1970s, and One World, introducing the world to the Chinese in the 1980s. She has been on the board of many international entities, and currently serves as the co-chair of China Institute in NYC.

Ms. Kan will make her remarks, which will be followed by a panel-led question and answer session. Please visit The Rose Group’s website prior to the Opening Lecture to see a video bio of Ms. Kan, as well as a short film, Journey Through A Changing China, produced by Ms. Kan. The film was broadcast on 5/30/1988, and has since been commended by Senate Congressional Record.

Visit The Rose Group 2021 program to see more than 30 videos about China's heritage arts, crafts, music, lion dance, cooking demo, etc.

This remote event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Registrants will receive the remote access link by email by 9 a.m. on the morning of the event.
