With Brad Barrett, ChooseFI

Brad Barrett, 2001 UR alumni and co-host of the ChooseFI podcast (Top 500 podcast with over 1.5 million downloads per month), reached financial independence at 35 through diligent savings, long-term thinking, and a focus on value – all on a middle-class salary. From their home studios here in Richmond, Brad and his co-host Jonathan Mendonsa lead a worldwide movement of those looking to step off the standard societal path and live a life of intentionality, all with financial security as the guiding light. Jean Chatzky, the TODAY Show's Financial Editor, said, "It (the Financial Independence Movement) has grown to be a movement in large part because of a podcast called ChooseFI." The path to financial independence is truly not one of deprivation, but one of choices based around what you value. Intentionality, relationships, community and lifestyle design are crucial ways to get to FI on your terms. Come learn how to secure your financial future!
