Creative Career Conversations is a series of virtual chats that allow students to learn from Spider alumni and friends of the University who work in a variety of careers related to marketing and communications.
 
These virtual chats are conducted in a 1:1 setting and provide you the opportunity to ask specific questions about the industry, and develop meaningful connections that can help you move forward in your own career.

15 minute time slots are available between 1 - 3 p.m. Sign-up for a slot by Wednesday, February 24, with link in SpiderConnect. 
 

This week's speaker: Chris Cox, Account Director, Media Arts Lab/Apple
Chris’ career has spanned the intersection of marketing and entertainment, currently as Brand Director at TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles. He leads global advertising efforts for Apple’s services and audio products, including Pay, tv+, Music, AirPods and HomePod. He created content partnerships and brand advertising for clients Beats by Dre, The Coca-Cola Company, Allbirds, American Express, and Verizon. His interest for advertising was first discovered through the Spiders in Marketing road-trip to New York. He worked as a peer advisor in the Career Center before graduating from the business school in 2011.


Current students of all majors and class years with an interest in roles related to marketing, communications, public relations, advertising and journalism careers are encouraged to attend.
