Join us for a reading group of Lama Rod Owens' recent book, "Love and Rage: The Path of Liberation through Anger". Lama Rod is an author, activist, and Buddhist teacher who specializes in conversations and contemplations on the things we are scared to talk about, with an intersectional focus on race, gender, sexuality, and identity. In Love and Rage, Lama Rod explores the ways anger can be a tool for social justice, activism, transformation, and change. Together we will consider the ways anger, when harnessed with compassion and mindfulness, provides a path to spiritual liberation and social change

We will follow the below reading schedule:

Thursday, January 28: Read & Discuss pp. 1 - 97
Thursday, February 11: Read & Discuss pp. 98 - 187
Thursday, March 11: Read & Discuss pp. 189 - 280
