Hamilton Glass, Richmond artist and founder of the Mending Walls project, and Partners in the Arts, an integrated education program at the University of Richmond, are collaborating to offer a free online workshop for educators with the support of VPM.

In this online, two-hour session, artists will engage educators by modeling the processes used during Mending Walls. Strategies to build empathy through discourse, and prompts designed to merge diverse approaches to painting to create a collaborative piece, will be shared throughout the workshop.

This workshop is open to all educators. Spots for this workshop are limited, so please register only if you will be able to take part from 7-9pm on September 14. A recording of the workshop will be shared publicly after the event.

Registrants will receive the Zoom link by email.
