The Jepson School of Leadership Studies presents Dr. André Brock, associate professor in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Tech, for his presentation, Black Digital Expertise as American Technoculture, in the Jepson Alumni Center. He will discuss online culture, cultural appropriation in GIFs and across social media, and Black joy as digital practice and as an avatar of American online identity and technoculture. Dr. Brock was originally scheduled to appear as part of the 2019-20 Jepson Leadership Forum, Digital Dystopias: Truth and Representation in the Internet Age.
