University of Richmond

The Provost's Office invites applications for the first Mid-Career Faculty Summit at the University of Richmond. This is a full-day (in person) professional development program that will lay a strong foundation to navigate in and through the associate professor years.

By participating in the Summit, associate professors will establish a strong foundation to be able to:

  • communicate career strengths and areas for growth,
  • articulate professional contribution,
  • identify needs and sources of support necessary to advance professional (and personal) goals,
  • begin to design short and long term goals, with corresponding action steps, and
  • contribute in meaningful ways to professional advancement and to diverse stakeholder groups (department, institution, community, family)

Applications are due: November 30. Please apply here. Questions may be directed to Linda Boland, Associate Provost for Faculty.
