Department of Chemistry 2023 W. Allan Power Lectureship

UR’s Chemistry Department’s signature endowed lectureship event will be a public lecture by a world renown chemist, Professor Nathan (Nate) S. Lewis, George L. Argyros Professor of Chemistry, California Institute of Technology. During the public lecture Prof. Lewis will describe a new materials phenomenon (inorganic phototropic growth) that his lab has discovered and will discuss the potentially revolutionary applications it may offer in nanoscale and mesoscale materials design and synthesis and device technology.
