Unapologetically Fat: A Body Positivity Panel Discussion with Woman of Color
Unapologetically Fat is a panel discussion with two powerful and fierce fat scholars and activists of color who work daily on unlearning and dismantling fatphobia through their scholarship and in their communities. Leigh-Anna Hidalgo Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Ethnicity, Race, and Migration at Yale University, and Athia Choudhury Ph.D., Postdoctoral Associate in Asian American and Diaspora Studies at Duke University, will discuss how their research and experiences in Academia helped them unpack Fatphobia and the ways they now live a Body Positive life.
