UR’s 2nd annual PleasureFest takes place March 20-25, 2023. The goal of PleasureFest is to enhance sex-positivity and healthy relationships, increase tools for pleasure across the dimensions of wellness, and promote healing in our community through radical self- and community- care. Comprehensive sex education is just one part of a multi-pronged approach to the prevention of sexual violence. These events are not an endorsement or invitation for attendees to engage in risky behavior, rather, they are providing a space for attendees to learn about safer and consent-based interactions and to recognize signs of both healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics.
