Join fellow Spiders for the second annual Juneteenth Celebration!
The event will feature a reflection by Yamir Chapman, ’25, a keynote by Virginia Museum of Fine Arts curator Valerie Cassel Oliver, and a music performance by Donté Thompson, ’23, accompanied by director of accompaniment and coordinator of chamber ensembles Dr. Joanne Kong. Following the program, enjoy drumming by Ram Bhagat and friends and treats from Ruby Scoops & Suzy Sno on The Forum. All are welcome, and no registration is required.
This event is co-hosted by Human Resources, the Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion, and Richmond Athletics.
