The art of interviewing: Essential tips for effective interviews

Oct 16
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
University of Richmond, Westhampton Room 115 - Heilman Center,

Do you have an upcoming interview? Or are you expecting to have one sometime in the near future? This workshop is for you! Interviewing can be tricky, as there are multiple modalities, formats, and types of interviews, as well as many different types of questions asked. At this workshop, we will take a broad overview of the interview process, different types, formats, and modalities of interviews, and then go into detail about how to approach them. We will also go over interview etiquette, attire, and how to follow up with an employer after an interview.

This event is a part of our Career Foundations Series, and the information is beneficial for any student with an upcoming interview, or any student looking to enhance their interview skills. We aim to provide a low-stakes, comforting environment where you can come as you are and ask us your career-related questions with no judgement. This workshop is led by our Peer Advisors, so it is by students, for students! Bring a friend and get a head start on your job and/or internship search!
