Join Professor Tom Roach, author of Screen Love: Queer Intimacies in the Grindr Era, for a discussion about dating apps and digital intimacies.  Professor Roach will present his research on the topic and engage attendees in a dialogue about their experiences with digital intimacy.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Tom Roach is Professor of Cultural Studies and Coordinator of Gender and Sexuality Studies at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.  In addition to Screen Love, he has written a book about queer friendship titled, Friendship as a Way of Life: Foucault, AIDS, and the Politics of Shared Estrangement.
