Bench Top Innovations: Great Bake Off
The Robins School of Business, in partnership with the UR's Creativity, Innovation, & Entrepreneurship Initiative (CIE), launched the inaugural year-long Benchtop Innovation course in 2021. Sixteen UR students from all disciplines collaborate to ideate and develop four innovative yet practical food or beverage products for commercialization. The fall semester focuses on developing and selecting the "winning" product concept. In the spring semester, students work as one unit (company "employees") to launch and scale their business.
Please join us for the culminating demo of four products uniquely crafted by University of Richmond students, coupled with a brand partnership from the VCU BrandCenter. Taste for yourself and learn which product is selected for spring 2025 commercialization.
