Join us for a special family-friendly event on campus with Tina Hallock and Kaitlin Jones Stasiunas as we celebrate the launch of a brand new children's book, Along Came the Spiders. Bring your little ones and let their imaginations soar as we embark on a whimsical journey together!

Event Highlights:
     • A live reading of Along Came the Spiders
     • Creative activities
     • A chance to meet the author and illustrator
     • Delicious treats

Along Came the Spiders, written by Tina Hallock, the first lady of the University of Richmond, tells how the University of Richmond became the only Spider mascot in collegiate sports.

After reading many accounts of how the Spider mascot came to be, Tina was inspired to write a children’s book detailing the history. The book is illustrated by Kaitlin Jones Stasiunas, the University of Richmond’s health promotion coordinator and a talented artist.
