Career: Meet the Firms

Launch your career in accounting by joining Meet the Firms on Wednesday, September 10! This is your opportunity to connect with the Big 4 and other accounting companies and learn what their firm has to offer.

The event will feature two main parts: 

1. Presentations: The firms will give you a quick "sales pitch" about their organizations and externship/internship opportunities

2. Firm Expo: Each firm will have a “booth," giving you the opportunity to speak to each firm.

To prepare for the event:

1. Dress professionally. Not sure what to wear? Meet with a Career Advisor or come for drop-in hours! You can also get financial support for professional wear by applying to the Career Opportunity Fund.
2. Organize your professional materials. While it is not required, it is always  a nice touch to bring a resume and impress employers. You should also be prepared to take notes by having a padfolio and pen ready at the event. Firms will receive a list of all student names and emails that attend the event.
3. Research employers. Check out which employers will be at Meet the Firms so you can prepare questions.
