Future Spiders who intend to start a degree-seeking program through the School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) starting in Spring 2026 are invited to our Discover Richmond walking tour of the University of Richmond campus. Invitees include those who have submitted an application or been accepted into a program of study.

Meet at the Special Programs Building at 3:45 p.m. to explore the campus, get the lay of the land and ignite your excitement for the upcoming term.

Wear your walking shoes because the tour will take you from the Special Programs Building through the University Forum and across Westhampton Lake to the academic buildings on the Richmond College side of campus, including Boatwright Library and its newly renovated café, 8:15 at Boatwright.

We’ll point out where to purchase your parking pass, where to eat, where to collect your ID card, where to shop for books and UR merch and where to attend classes. And we’ll round out the tour by treating you to a pastry or a drink at 8:15 at Boatwright before returning to the Special Programs Building.

This event is free and open to applied and admitted SPCS degree-seeking students and their families. Registration requested to attend.
