36th Annual Peple Lecture ft. Sigrid Nunez

A literary sensation and a writer of uncommon talent, Sigrid Nunez is the author of many novels, including the National Book Award winner and New York Times bestseller, The Friend. In this intimate talk, she speaks candidly with the audiences about the various influences on her work, and how it has developed over the course of her career. She also shares her beginnings as a writer, anecdotes about her life, and her thoughts on the writer's role in society.

About the Peple Lecture: 
The Edward C. and Mary S. Peple Lectureship on Libraries and Information Science brings to the University of Richmond visiting scholars to speak about issues relating to the library, publications, and related matters among the entire University community. Students will receive an added dimension to their educational experience at the University, and other members of the University of Richmond faculty and the local community will benefit from the expertise of their presentations.
