Tyreek McDole is a multi-award-winning Haitian-American vocalist from Central Florida whose deeply reflective artistry has made him one of jazz’s most exciting young voices. With a soulful baritone and fearless sense of style, he brings a fresh perspective rooted in the sounds of the Caribbean, Florida, and New York.

Winner of the 2023 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, Tyreek has already shared the stage with artists like Theo Croker and Gary Bartz. His 2025 debut album, Open Up Your Senses, has been praised for its emotional depth and spiritual resonance and blends the same depth, soul, and spark that make his live performances unforgettable.

For the Modlin Arts Presents 30th anniversary season, we welcome longtime collaborator and guest curator Christian McBride, a highly acclaimed, bassist, composer, and bandleader recognized as one of the most prolific figures in music. McBride has handpicked performances that illuminate jazz as a vibrant, ever-evolving art form. He will lead artist talks and discussions throughout the weekend.
