Prism is a bold and deeply immersive musical journey that transcends borders, genres, and expectations. At its core is a visionary collaboration of Silkroad artists drawn from diverse traditions—Indian classical and folk, Western classical and folk, and global musical practices—brought together to create a single, seamless experience. Musicians are invited not only to contribute compositions, but to engage in a process of discovery, identifying shared musical threads and reimagining them through collaboration, arrangement, and new creation.

Rather than placing styles side by side, the performance reveals their shared DNA. Through the lens of a “prism,” the same musical material—rooted in the universal language of seven notes—is refracted across cultures, transforming Irish melodies into Indian ragas, blending sitar with cello, and uncovering unexpected relationships between traditions. What may begin as a piece firmly grounded in one musical identity gradually expands, illuminating how its notes and structures resonate across other systems, challenging the idea that music belongs within fixed categories.

Balancing accessibility with artistic depth, the performance is not simply a presentation of music, but a transformative encounter. It challenges, surprises, and ultimately reshapes how we listen—bridging cultures while speaking directly to the heart.
