Department of Music Free Concert Series

The Samesoul Maker visits the University of Richmond in a rare performance of this long-form composition for four voices, bells, and prepared vibraphone. Built around an invented vocal language and a fully notated score, the work unfolds as a primal, meditative ritual that invites listeners into a deeply immersive sonic experience.

The Department of Music produces over 25 concerts annually featuring a broad range of styles and genres. Enjoy student recitals, faculty ensemble performances, and concerts created in collaboration with visiting artists. All concerts are free with tickets and seating is general admission.
