Are you planning to study abroad in 2027? The Gilman Scholarship awards over 2,900 scholarships annually for study abroad. U.S. citizens receiving a Federal Pell Grant as part of their financial aid are eligible.
Join us for an overview of the Gilman Scholarship program, eligibility, application process, and selection criteria, followed by an in-depth look at the Gilman essays. We will cover how to craft strong essays, discuss common pitfalls, and get started on drafting your own essays. Participants do not need to bring anything aside from a word processor!
Students who have already attended a Gilman info session are invited to join us at 4:00pm, when our workshop will turn its focus to essays.Contact the Office of Scholars and Fellowships (fellowships@richmond.edu) with any questions.
