9/11 Memorial Walk

Join the Military Science & Leadership Program at the Gumenick Quadrangle as we honor the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks and the victims lost on that day. For each lap participants make around the quadrangle, they may place one star next to someone's name on our list of those lost. One star to honor one name for each lap.

Participants may come and walk as many or as few laps as they wish between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Our goal is to ensure that each of the 2,977 victims listed are honored by the end of our event.

8:30 a.m. - Welcome, opening remarks, and prayer- MSG Anthony Hegberg & Rev. Craig Kocher
8:46 a.m. - Moment of Silence for Flight 11/North Tower-Rev. Craig Kocher
9:03 a.m. - Moment of Silence for Flight 175/South Tower -UR Police Chief Dave McCoy
09:37 a.m. - Moment of Silence for Flight 77/Pentagon - Marshall Ervine -Osher
10:03 a.m. - Moment of Silence for Flight 93 -MSG Anthony Hegberg
4:00 P.m. - Event Ends
