Join the University of Richmond Journal of Law & Technology for their annual symposium highlighting the ever-changing intersection of law and technology. This year's theme explores how the AI race has caused the United States’ demand for energy and data centers to rapidly increase. The morning session will explore how nuclear energy, now more than ever, is in the spotlight as possibly the way forward. The afternoon session will dive into how data centers are consuming energy and driving the push for the United States to expand the grid. Additionally, speakers will seek to flesh out the nuanced conversation around data centers ranging from national security, to environmental, and economic concerns.
