Richmond Law Review Symposium: America "First" or America "Alone"? - Redefining U.S. Leadership in the International Order

Join the University of Richmond Law Review for its fall Symposium examining the future of U.S. leadership in an evolving international order. At a time when threats to the national interest are increasingly global in nature, scholars, experts, and legal practitioners will come together to consider how the U.S. can pursue a reformed and sustainable approach to international leadership—and what that approach means for the American people.

The Symposium will feature keynote speaker John B. Bellinger, III, partner at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington, D.C., and a globally recognized expert in international law. Bellinger draws on decades of experience at the intersection of international law, national security, and U.S. foreign policy, including senior roles as Legal Adviser to the U.S. Department of State and the National Security Council. 

Together, we will examine how the United States can navigate an evolving international order while advancing its interests, values, and global influence.
