We’ll be soaking up the regatta action, catching up with old friends, and enjoying all the excitement of this legendary rowing event.  

Rethink Waste is looking for volunteers to support our waste diversion efforts on October 19, as the Spiders take on Delaware. We are competing against other schools in a variety of categories and we need your help!

Enjoy wine tastings, seasonal appetizers, and great company alongside Old Dominion University's Southside Hampton Roads' Alumni Chapter. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just starting to explore, you’ll have the chance to sample over 200 wines...

Join us for Family Arts Day! Free hands-on art activities for families (most appropriate with children under age 12), refreshments, entertainment, and exhibitions.   Art activities and exhibitions are available from 1-3 p.m.  Dance performance at 3 p.m. Free and open to everyone!

The James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is designed to provide work experience for students with serious career interests in international affairs research. Gaither Fellows will be hired to work as research assistants at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington, DC, on a full-time basis for one year.

The University of Richmond’s Writers Series exposes Richmond students, the greater university community, and city residents to some of today’s most celebrated writers. Readings are free and open to the public, though seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each reading will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing. 

Research has shown that our emotional intelligence has a heavy influence on our success. During this workshop we will learn about the emotional intelligence model, the traits that comprise emotional intelligence, and how we can increase our own emotional intelligence. Open to all staff and faculty.
